DiGiDO plans to develop a certified eFTI platform to meet the requirements of the EU eFTI Regulation and to advance the digitization of transportation data.
The project consists of three key components: the development of an eFTI interface, the upgrade of the existing DiGiDO interface, and the implementation of a fully-fledged eFTI platform. The goal is to complete the project by the end of 2026 to ensure its mandatory implementation starting in July 2027.

With the eFTI Regulation, the European Union has established a binding framework for the digitization of cargo and transport information. Starting in July 2027, government agencies must accept electronic cargo information, and companies are required to provide it digitally. Currently, there are no officially certified eFTI platforms; certification will be possible starting in 2026.

Since 2017, DiGiDO GmbH has specialized in the real-time digitization of transportation data and has already successfully implemented various interface projects. The WasteX and DIWASS modules will be fully developed by the end of 2026 and will then be available for integration into the new platform. By developing its own certified eFTI platform, DiGiDO aims to meet legal requirements and strengthen its position as an innovative data platform in the Austrian market.
